Kimball Roundy’s Prosperity Freedom Builder Review (Not Positive)
Posted by fceballos under Traffic Generation , Self Funded Proposal , Network MarketingMy business partner just spoke with one of his affiliates and we know what’s going on. (Note: This is NOT a positive review.)
Kimball launched this system last Thursday and it’s almost identical to Mike Dillard’s Magnetic Sponsoring System, except with really poor copy.
When you become an affiliate, you are not learning to use adwords, you are participating in a co-op where Kimball takes your money and invest a portion of it on AdWords. (Smart!)
Unfortunately, what this has resulted in, is Kimball spamming Google AdWords for the same keywords on behalf of everyone.
If you search for “Daegan Smith” or other MLM gurus, you’ll notice his ads are all over the place. He’s basically shoved all other advertisers off the front page.
He gets around Google’s system by using different domain extensions (i.e. com, org, us, info, name, etc.)
So the affiliates are not managing the Adwords, Kimball is. The only job of the affiliate is to call prospects.
But the real winner in the system is of course Kimball, since he gets to use other people’s money to promote his affiliate system, while creating dependecy on his services.
Daegan Smith has a system which is personalized for the affiliate, which is much better. And Mike Dillard’s system converts better than any system out there, in terms of generating leads and affiliate sales.
Ultimately, its’ in the best interest of any MLM’er online to create their own system.
Kimball’s PFB system is crap and I would expect that he’ll get shut off by Google for spamming Adwords.
If you are a newbie, I would recommend starting with either Daegan or Mike’s system, then move on to creating your own marketing. I’m affiliates for both Daegan and Mike and they are first rate human beings and marketers.
Mike’s Magnetic Sponsoring Course is a lifesaver of a course for struggling MLM’ers. Daegan Smith’s system offers the most value in terms of features, because of the training he offers and personalized lead capture system. (Pros and Cons to both systems.)
Kimball’s system seems to have been built by the same company or people that built Mike Dillard’s or Daegan Smith’s. In all honesty, I’m disappointed because I know the guy who created those systems and he’s a great guy.
Not sure why he would want to associate himself with PFB.
I hope this has helped clear things up for you guys wondering who Kimball Roundy is or what the Prosperity Freedom Builder site is. You’ll see his ads for another few days until Google catches on.
Note, this is not an indictment on Mr. Roundy’s character or person. Simply a scathing review of some poor advertising practices, our perspective on his type of business model and ill thought out launch of a new system.
To Your Success,
Ferny

Not to mention he’s paying an arm and a leg per click on AdWords… and at as low of a CTR (0.44%), you bet he’ll get Google Slapped up the wazzu. (See his screenshots here: http://debtew.prosperityfreedombuilder.com/enroll/index.php)
I interpret this as:
1) he’s just throwing money at Google rather than leveraging good marketing skills like the ones taught in AMF and more importantly…
2) how he’s really just burning his subscriber’s dollars without care.

Some time has passed since PFB launched, and Kimball seems to now be abiding by Google’s rules.
I want to note, I don’t personally know Kimball. I’m sure he’s a great guy and has helped many people. He seems to be successful in MLM.
I just had two fundamental disagreements with the way he conducts business:
1) He launched PFB by spamming Google Adwords, which I think was a tactical mistake.
2) Since his system (as far as I know) is one big co-op, none of his members are really learning any marketing skills and will ultimately have limited success.
People are welcome to post their opinions on here (good, bad or indifferent).

I don’t know what this guy was doing before but The SpiderWeb Marketing System is Gold. The system is free and it is not full of crap.
My question is this. The poster of this article. Why post you biz. If you are criticizing Kimball Roundy that should be enough if his system is ‘crap’. But you are trying to put him and his biz down to push your own. AMAZING!!!
Kimball is doing what the so-called gurus tell you to do after you pay them. He is doing if Free. So that is the issue that you really have with him. If not say the truth.
You can’t beat his system so it is his character that you want to assassinate.
Google don’t have a problem with him. They are doing what they set out to do. Get Money.
He is bringing them money and getting paid to do it. His has Adwords as a stream of income on his system.
So, if I spend $100 in Adwords Advertisement he get paid. Isn’t that what Adwords set up? No Kimball.
My Advice: Don’t Hate! Congratulate!!!

The original post was referring to a system Kimball had originally created, which came before SpiderWeb.
And yes the previous system was not very good, which is why he regrouped and came out with the much better and thought out SpiderWeb system.
SpiderWeb does have a ton of bells and whistles and from a feature standpoint is first rate, with tons of opportunity for affiliate commissions.
But from the perspective of someone who is ultimately out to empower people with skill sets, it’s not designed for that purpose.
There’s nothing wrong with co-ops and doing the advertising for your affiliates for a fee.
But that’s just not my business model. I prefer to do business with clients who wish to take matters into their own hands, and develop valuable skill sets.
I’ll gladly refer them to Spider Web, if they are looking for a completely turn key system they can plug into.
But if someone wants to grow a long term business, they are going to need to create a system of their own and learn to market, or at least manage a team of people who will do it on their behalf.
“Black boxes” are not the way to go, when growing a long term business. It’s cool to get started with, but you shouldn’t rely on it in the long run.
Outsourcing is powerful skill which should be mastered by all serious entrepreneurs, but should be done with a clear understanding as to how the work is being done (i.e. you know how to do it yourself if you wanted to.)
This is the only way you could effectively manage someone doing work for you.
Again, the above post was initially written when, quite frankly, Mr. Roundy pissed off quite a few advertisers and did indeed use black hat techniques to spam adwords, hence the tone of the review at the time.
Since then, Mr. Roundy has developed a very powerful and valuable internet brand and system, and has done so ethically to the best of my knowledge.
Congratulations are in order to him.
However, we still stand by our initial review from 1 year ago.

Thank you guys for your now-positive out look on Kimball Roundy. I am always happy to witness things coming together in the end for the benefit of all. I cannot speak about Kimball’s former affiliation -but I would like to explain that anyone who fully utilizes The Spider Web Marketing System -does in fact learn how to do things for themselves. You learn AdWords, you learn how to navigate around each affiliation site you sing up with -you learn how to jump on board and profit form these same sites as well. We have a back office system that allows us to communicate with one another -which means I can show others how to write and submit articles and press releases. We can all help support one another and we can help each other grow!! We are actually learning to market at the same time we are learning new systems for doing so… and we manage our own team of people-so just to let you know and to update you on the comments made above. Again the most important thing here is making peace with one another -not worrying about what team we play on… after all -we are are playing the same “Sport” and we can do more together than anything we may accomplish on our own. I just want you to know how much respect you have earned by distinguishing the difference between a service or opportunity and the person/s involved therein! Thank you for your integrity, insight and your opinions!
Warm Regards!
